Deer And Transformer Fine Art Print
Deer rises on his powerful hind legs in a gesture of protection and celebration of victory in Snoqualmie artist Bethany Fackrell’s Deer And Transformer Fine Art Print. In this piece, she tells the Snoqualmie story of how Deer saved all the creatures of the earth when the moon became the sun.
Deer And Transformer
Before the Transformer became our creator, the moon, he was the sun. Transformer’s powers had become dangerously strong, so in an attempt to save the earth from his powers he became the sun. However, Transformer was still too powerful as the sun, and he started burning the earth. Deer decided he was not going to stand by and watch his home burn, so he confronted Transformer to save his home and his relations.
As a result of this confrontation, Transformer quickly realized he had to change again, so he became the moon. When he changed into the moon he couldn’t just abandon his creation of the sun, so his little brother became the sun and together they watched over the earth.
A gift for the protector in your life, or as a powerful reminder of your own strength, our Deer And Transformer Fine Art Print is a meaningful addition to any room.

Our Native-designed fine art prints are created in our studio on archival paper. This is one more example of our Native business taking back production so we can further invest in our artists and community!
Known as giclée prints (pronounced “zhe-clay”), our fine art prints are distinguished from mass-produced prints due to their quality, longevity, and value. We print using a state-of-the-art, large-format fine art printer in our Seattle-based art studio. Because they’re printed on acid-free paper, our prints won’t degrade over time, and when displayed out of direct sunlight will maintain their color saturation and fine detail for decades.
